The Plantation House

A very good seafood dinner. The lobsters were really delicious, big and meaty. I ordered a lobster set meal, which included grilled lobster and seafood lobster rice. The lobsters were well prepared and the meat was easy to eat.

It is located in the small town of Waimea in the northwest of the Big Island. In 2014, it won the Big Island &quot;Gold Award&quot; Top 1 (Best Dinner Restaurant). Lunch is relatively cheap, with an average of 20-30 US dollars per person; dinner is about 40 US dollars per person. The following picture (upper left) is the exterior of the restaurant; (upper right) is the restaurant&#39;s own plantation on the left side of the restaurant. Its dishes are advertised as all natural and organic grown in this vegetable garden; (below) is the interior decoration of the restaurant&#39;s lobby, award certificates, business cards, etc. The restaurant&#39;s recommended dishes: Big Island steak (with local fresh mushrooms), charcoal grilled tuna, Japanese ponzu sauce soaked mahi mahi fish, etc. It can be said that every dish will not disappoint you. The famous dessert recommended: cocoa cream caramel pudding!

There were not many people when I went to the western restaurant in the city center, probably because it was raining that day. There were small sushi inside, and the handmade sushi was sold one by one and could be taken away. The taste was good, and no tip was required.
